Rumour London (formerly Tabu) Bottle Service: Booths and Prices
What a booth at Rumour (formerly Tabu) costs and includes: the £1,000 starting minimum, why the booth is the position to have in a 200-capacity room, how men get in and what the no-photography rule means.
Bottle service at Rumour (formerly Tabu) means a booth, and booths start from a £1,000 minimum spend, as of October 2026, with entry for the whole group included. Across eight people that is roughly £125 each, spent on drinks at the booth. For men and mixed groups the booth is not an upgrade but the way in, because the guestlist is for ladies only. Below is what a booth includes, how the minimum splits, why the booth is the position to have in a room of around 200, what the no-photography rule means for a bottle-service night and how to book.
What a Booth at Rumour Includes
A booth booked through us at Rumour comes with:
- Entry for the whole group. Everyone on the booking goes in on the booth.
- A reserved booth in the main room. The room is built around them.
- Table service through the night. Bottles and mixers come to the booth.
- Premium spirits or champagne with mixers. Everything the booth orders counts towards the minimum spend.
The £1,000 is a minimum spend on drinks, not a fee for the booth. No other price is published, so anything beyond the starting booth, such as a larger booth or a prime position, is priced on request and confirmed before you commit. Our explainer on what comes with bottle service covers the standard inclusions at London tables in more detail.
Why the Booth Is the Position to Have
Rumour is one intimate room of around 200, built around booths: deep red velvet, dark panelling, a chandelier and low, warm lighting. With one room rather than several, where the group sits decides how the night feels, and the booth gives it a base, a place for the bottles and the room in front of it. The room fills early by design, which is why booths on Friday and Saturday are worth arranging in advance, while Wednesday and Thursday are the more relaxed nights.
The music is open format, moving between hip hop, RnB and house, read to the room on the night. For what separates one table position from another in a London club, our guide to where to sit at a London club goes through the options.
How the £1,000 Minimum Splits
| Group size | Share of a £1,000 minimum | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| 6 people | About £167 each | Entry, the booth and the drinks |
| 8 people | £125 each | Entry, the booth and the drinks |
| 10 people | £100 each | The same, if one starting booth suits the group |
At eight people, £125 each covers entry, the booth and a share of the bottles. With six, the share rises to about £167; with ten it falls to £100, although a bigger group may need a larger booth, which is priced on request. To fix each person's share before the night, our guide to splitting a club table bill sets out the simplest methods.
Men, Mixed Groups and the Ladies' Guestlist
Rumour runs a ladies' guestlist, free to £20 on the door depending on the night and how busy it is. Men are not added to the guestlist, so a group of men, or a mixed group that wants to arrive together, comes in on a booth, which covers entry for everyone on the booking.
| Your group | How you get in | What it costs |
|---|---|---|
| Ladies only | The ladies' guestlist, or a booth | Free to £20 each on the door, or a booth from £1,000 |
| Men only | A booth | From £1,000, roughly £125 each across eight |
| Mixed group | A booth | From £1,000, roughly £125 each across eight |
For a ladies' group the choice is real. The guestlist is the low-cost way in, and Wednesday and Thursday are the easiest nights for it, while a booth adds a reserved seat, table service and entry for the whole group in a room that fills early.
No Photos on the Dance Floor
The clearest difference between Rumour and the rooms around it is the no-photography policy: no photos or video in the main room or on the dance floor, enforced by the floor team. Camera rules are still the exception in British clubs. When the BBC looked at smartphones on UK dance floors in December 2024, only a handful of UK venues enforced one, while in Berlin a no-phones code on the dance floor was the norm.
For a bottle-service night it changes the script. At many clubs the arrival of the bottles is the moment the phones come out; at Rumour that moment is not filmed, and the night stays in the room. If the group wants pictures, take them before you go in, and let whoever the night is for know that the celebration will not be on camera. If you would like the bottles presented, ask when you book and we confirm what can be arranged on your night.
The Door: 18+, Photo ID and a Dressed-Up Look
The door is 18+ with photo ID. The dress code is smart and dressed up: heels for ladies and a considered look for men, no sportswear and no fancy dress, with trainers at the door's discretion. Rumour presents itself as a members' club, but you do not need a membership: we book booths and guestlist for non-members and confirm your names with the door before you go.
Rumour is at 1 Dover Street, Mayfair, London W1S 4LD, on the stretch of Dover Street between Piccadilly and Grafton Street, a few minutes' walk from Green Park. It opens Wednesday to Saturday, 11pm to 4am. It is the full rebrand of Tabu under the same ownership, with a new design and concept, opened in October 2026; many people still search for the old name, but booths are booked as Rumour.
How to Book a Booth at Rumour
- Send us your date, group size and the mix of the group.
- We confirm the booth, the minimum and the terms for your night before you commit, then send your names to the door.
- Arrive with photo ID, dressed for the door, give the booking name and leave the camera off in the main room and on the dance floor.
Booking through us is free to you. The booth options are on our Rumour table booking page, and the Rumour club guide covers the room, the music and the hours. Halloween 2026 falls on Saturday 31 October and New Year's Eve on Thursday 31 December. Both sit inside the Wednesday to Saturday schedule, no events have been announced for either night, and booths for both are worth booking early. If the group would rather have two floors and a lower starting minimum, our guide to bottle service at 99 Regent Street (formerly Cuckoo Club) covers tables there from £600.
Send your date and group size on WhatsApp and we will confirm the booth, the minimum for your night and the names on the door, so the whole group knows the cost before the night begins.
