The experience

What to Expect at Rumour

Rumour is the full rebrand of the club that traded as Tabu: the same ownership, with a new design and a new concept, opened in October 2026. It is one room of around 200, built around booths, with deep red velvet, dark panelling, a chandelier and low, warm lighting, and it fills early by design. The music is open format, moving between hip-hop, RnB and house, read to the room on the night. The single clearest difference from the rooms around it is the no-photography policy: no photos or video in the main room or on the dance floor, enforced by the floor team. For bottle service, booths start from £1,000 minimum spend, covering entry for the whole group, which works out at roughly £125 each across eight people. A booth is the route in for men and mixed groups, because the guestlist is for ladies only, at free to £20 on the door depending on the night and how busy it is. Wednesday and Thursday are the more relaxed nights and the easiest for guestlist entry; Friday and Saturday fill out and are worth arranging in advance. The door is 18+ with photo ID. The venue presents itself as a members' club, and we book tables and guestlist for non-members. Dover Street runs between Piccadilly and Grafton Street, a few minutes' walk from Green Park, with Piccadilly Circus and Bond Street both within walking distance.
