Before You Arrive at Rumour
Rumour is at 1 Dover Street, Mayfair, London W1S 4LD, on the stretch of Dover Street between Piccadilly and Grafton Street. Green Park is a few minutes' walk, and Piccadilly Circus and Bond Street are both within walking distance. The club opens from 11pm to 4am. Bring photo ID, because the door is 18+, give the booking name at the door, and leave the camera off once you are inside: no photos or video in the main room or on the dance floor.

Guestlist vs Table Booking at Rumour
Rumour runs a ladies' guestlist, with entry from free to £20 on the door depending on the night and how busy it is. Men are not added to the guestlist, so for men and mixed groups a booth is the route in. A booth covers entry for the whole group from £1,000 minimum spend, roughly £125 each across eight people. That buys a reserved booth in a room built around them, table service through the night and bottles with mixers, rather than a place at the bar.

How to Get Into Rumour
The door is 18+ with photo ID. The dress code is smart and dressed up: heels for ladies and a considered look for men. No sportswear and no fancy dress, and trainers are at the door's discretion. Rumour presents itself as a members' club. You do not need a membership to book: we arrange booths and guestlist for non-members, and confirm your names with the door before you go.

One intimate room of around 200, built around booths: deep red velvet, dark panelling, a chandelier and low, warm lighting. The music is open format, moving between hip-hop, RnB and house, read to the room on the night. The room fills early by design, which is why booths on Friday and Saturday are worth arranging in advance.

Rumour does not allow photos or video in the main room or on the dance floor, and the floor team enforces it. It is the single clearest difference from the rooms around it, and it suits groups who want a night that stays in the room.

The 200-capacity room suits takeovers: private hire and corporate enquiries are arranged through us, with terms on request.
